‘Scandal’ Season 6 Offers An Exciting New Season; Shonda Rhimes Confirms That This Season Will Not Be The Series Finale

There is definitely a lot going on in "Scandal" Season 6. Showrunner Shonda Rhimes clarifies that this is not the final season of the hit ABC show.

For starters, "Grey's Anatomy" actress Zoe Perry will appear in the new season of the show. Zoe Perry is the daughter of one of the series regular Jeff Perry, who plays Vice President Cyrus Beene on the show.

Den of Geek reported that the new season of the series will focus on their US Election. The site reported that the series will reflect the new tagline of the show "The balance of power is about to shift."

The site also reported that this is not the end for "Scandal" Season 6. Shonda Rhimes shut down rumors by tweeting "Whoa, @GMA: I never said this was the final season of #scandal. Way to make me spit out my coffee!"

Last season has been filled with remarkable moments with Millie Grant Republican candidacy, unexpected hook ups and violent beatings. It can be remembered that Millie Grant decided to run for presidency against Frankie Vargas, that will be the highlight of this season, TV Line reported.

There has been speculations that Frankie Vargas will win the elections. Even though, fans would need to watch the series to find out if this is true.

It was definitely a jaw dropper when viewers of the show found out that David Rosen was having an affair with Susan Ross. However, that affair did not last when Ross found out that Rosen believes she could not win the Republican nominations without him.

Fans totally lost their minds when Olivia Pope beat Governor Andrew Nichols with a metal chair. This is what Cyrus Beene is using as a black mail for Pope.

The site reported that "Scandal Season 6" will only have 16 episodes instead of 22. Travelers Today reported that the ABC hit series will return on January 19, 2017.
