Robert Downey Jr. Networth: Actor Will Earn $100M If He Still Be ‘Iron Man’

Robert Downey Jr. would earn $100 million if he continues to be "Iron Man." This amount could double if he gets a cut from the movie's merchandise sales. It is reported that Marvel invested $340 million in "Avengers: Infinity War." This probably includes the payment of the celebrities including Robert Downey Jr.

NY Daily News reported that the executives know that superhero is the quarterback of the films. They explained that replacing RDJ in the universe would be very hard for the executives.

The site explained that the next film that featured the famous superhero was in "Captain America: Civil War" that happened last year. As for "Iron Man 4," it is rumored to be released around 2019. According to the site, that there might be a new Marvel superhero introduced in 2020.

There are also rumors circulating that Robert Downey Jr.'s character will not survive the "Avengers: Infinity War." There are also speculations that Marvel Studios will follow the comic version o the superhero, where Tony Stark is presumed dead. He will be replaced by Riri Williams his protégé.

Cinema Blend once reported that RDJ earned $50 million for "Avengers: Age of Ultron." The site speculates that this might be the reason why Robert Downey Jr. might not get to do "Iron Man 4."

To date, there are still no reports regarding "Iron Man 4." Fans can see Robert Downey Jr. in "Spiderman: Homecoming" when it hit theaters on July 7, 2017.
