‘Deadpool’ Breaks Another Record As It Bags The Most Illegally Downloaded Movie Of 2016

Since its first run, "Deadpool" has broken a lot of records being probably the first superhero R-rated film. Now, it has broken another record for being the "most pirated movie of 2016."

It is reported that millions of movie fans download the blockbuster superhero movie weekly. The first pirated copy of the film first appeared in February. To date, thousands of movie watchers still actively share copies of the movie, Torrent Freak reported.

Marvel fans probably remember this when the R-rated superhero flick also bagged the title for the highest-grossing X-Men movie ever. It is the first superhero movie to have a Zamboni chase scene.

It can be remembered that Ryan Reynolds was in the rumor mill last year for revealing his first child's name making Blake Lively pretty much unhappy. Sparking conflict rumors between the couple, Travelers Today reported.

This is not the first time that Ryan Reynolds' revealed something that he should have not, he revealed his child's gender in 2014. However, this rumor just remained a rumor because the couple seemed to have a strong relationship that transcends beyond the unwanted revelation.

Going back to the topic, Entertainment Weekly reported it is not just Ryan Reynold's "Deadpool" that are illegally downloaded every day. Next to the movie, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Captain America: Civil War" are also getting downloaded frequently.

Aside from that, "X- Men Apocalypse" and "Suicide Squad" are also frequently downloaded. Even other blockbuster hits like "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "Finding Dory" are also illegally downloaded.

The live adaptation of the hit video game "Warcraft" is also getting numerous downloads in torrent sites as well as the sequel "Independence Day: Resurgence." Oscar winning movie "Revenan" is also in the list of the most illegally downloaded movies.

Despite this, "Deadpool" is still the 6th highest grossing film domestically, earning $363.1 million. Internationally the movie earned more than $783 million. To date, the executives of the movie are working on an upcoming sequel with "John Wick" director David Leitch in the forefront.
