Doctor Stephen Strange Will Appear in “Thor: Ragnarok” When It Hits Theaters This November

Benedict Cumberbatch will reprise his role as "Doctor Strange" in "Thor: Ragnarok." There will be no "Planet Hulk" in the upcoming movie.

Disney officially declared this by revealing on D23, Disney's official fan club, that it is not just Hulk who will be in the new Marvel film but Doctor Stephen Strange as well. It can be remembered that Thor visited Strange in Sanctum Sanctorum asking his help with his brother Loki, The Wrap reported.

It is also reported that the Planet Hulk will not be included in "Thor: Ragnarok." Despite this, Meik and Korg, who appeared in the "Planet Hulk" storyline will be appearing in the upcoming Marvel movie.

Den of Geek reported that director Taika Waititi said that they will be meeting in Sakaar. According to other reports, Sakaar is a planet located in the fictional Tayo Star System in the Fornax Galaxy.

There has been a lot of powerful intergalactic beings who lives in the planet. It is field with a lot of unknown robotic beings.

The Red King ruled the planet until he was overthrown by the Hulk and his Warbound friends. Waititi described the planet as an "insane, far-off futuristic planet which was the biggest shift for the film and these characters.

Even though this is a nice setting for "Planet Hulk," this does not mean that "Thor: Ragnarok" will feature the beloved character. This also does not mean that the new "Thor" movie will be the same as the comics. Despite this, fans can still be sure that the movie is influenced by the comics.

The movie will see Chris Hemsworth reprise his role as Thor. Tom Hiddleston will also return as the beloved villain Loki.

The other cast member includes Idris Elba (Heimdall), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), Jeff Goldblum (Grandmaster) and Karl Urban (Skurge). Legendary actor Anthony Hopkins will return as Odin, while, Cate Blanchett will be the villainous Hela. Travelers Today reported that "Thor: Ragnarok" will hit theaters on November 3.
