Hurricane Sandy NYC: Eerie Pyramid Sand Dunes Left Behind in The Rockaways [PHOTOS]
Hurricane Sandy has devastated much of New York, leaving many homeless. Now, in a series of amazing photos, 18 dunes made up of purely sand collected from the Rockaways in Queens. The photos are of the dunes in the parking lot of Jacob Riis Park and look like pyramids.
