The Yalu jailbreak for iOS 10.2 will soon be available for download, but iPhone 7 users will have to wait longer as the current version won't work on the device. The jailbreak will still be in beta version, though, so there will still be bugs and performance issues.
The developer of the Yalu Jailbreak, Luca Todesco had tweeted that the fix he is working on for the issues of the iOS 10.1 jailbreak will add support for the iOS 10.2 jailbreak. He didn't say when he will come out with the fix for the jailbreak.
However, iPhone 7 users will have to wait longer as the developer adds that his 10.2 jailbreak support won't be working on the device. Todesco did say the jailbreak will work for the Apple device that has iOS 10 and iOS 10.1.
Uzair Ghani of WCCF Tech reports that the Yalu Jailbreak support for iOS 10.2 is good news for iPhone users who weren't able to take advantage of the jailbreak for iOS 10.1 and iOS 10.1.1. But he adds that it's also important to note that it is still in its beta version, so bugs and performance related issues will still be common.
Ghani said that the jailbreak is basically meant for developers, as they are already aware of what they are getting if they download the jailbreak in beta version. But for those who have no idea of what they are getting, he suggested staying away from the jailbreak until the complete version comes out "in the near future."
