Several Users Are Saying Their Apple iPhone 7 Plus Cameras Are Broken With Black Screen, Not All Device Units Affected

It looks like Apple will be facing some problems with its iPhone 7 Plus, as some users are reporting to have experienced the "black screen of death" whenever they open their camera app. It seems not all units are experiencing this problem, though.

According to The Sun, several users are saying that the rear camera lens of their iPhone 7 Plus is breaking. Users are saying that they're only seeing a black screen or flashes of green or purple whenever they open the app.

Reddit user teryakiwok reported having experienced this problem, saying that he would sometimes get "an image however it's either tinted green or purple." He adds that the problem was even accompanied by an "Emergency iPhone needs to cool down" message once, even if the phone is not warm.

The Reddit user was not the only one who's experiencing the problem, as several users reported experiencing the same thing in several Apple forums. A man wrote that he even tried resetting, restarting, and restoring his iPhone. But the camera still shows a black screen.

Apple's support website recommends the steps that the man took in trying to solve the issue. They recommend that f the problem still persists, take the device to an Apple Retail Store or Authorized Service Provider.

This is a big blow to the Apple iPhone 7 units, which is considered as the best phone to buy. Though it's not perfect, it's the most recommended due to its overall positivity.

But it looks like not all the units of iPhone 7 Plus is affected by this problem. Looking at the number of people who are complaining, it's just a small percentage of the overall users of the smartphone. The Sun has tested their own iPhone 7 Plus extensively and has yet to experience the problem.

For users who are experiencing the "black of death" problem with the camera of their iPhone 7 Plus, it's best to take them to an Apple Retail Store for repairs, or even replacement. For now, Apple has yet to comment on the problem.
