Rash actions can lead to grave consequences is what Goku has learned in the latest episode of "Dragon Ball Super". In Episode 78, Goku and the gang was informed of the official detail surrounding the multiverse tournament that Goku insisted. It turns out that the losing universe will be erased in existence and with the threat of destruction looming around Goku seek some allies to join him.
The tournament was called 'Tournament of Power where all the universe must prepare a team of ten warriors to participate. The most bothering rule however,is that the losing team's universe will be destroyed and will be erased from existence. This series of events will be the content of the new saga called 'Universal Survival' Arc.
According to Comic Book, Toei Animation have provided new details on the characters that will be making an appearance in the saga. They posted some pictures, biographies and other details of the new gods, warriors and other character that will be introduced. Kai of Universe 9 was introduced to be Rou and will be voiced by Yasunori Masutani.
Other character that were introduced is the God of Destruction for the Universe 9 named Sidra. Sidra stands short that closely resembles a dwarf with a long orange hair, a mustache and a beard. He is said to be hesitant in nature and a failure as a God of Destruction because cannot destroy anything due to his inconstant nature.
Before the tournament, Zeno ordered to have an exhibition match first to introduce his future counterpart on what is a tournament all about. It will consist of three participants each from Universe 7 and 9. Goku chose his son, Gohan and Majin Buu as his allies for the exhibition match as reported by IGN. On the other hand, a group called Trio of Dangers will serve as their opponents.
The next episode of "Dragon Ball Super" will kick off next week and will be titled 'Buu Vs. Basil'. This will be the first round of the exhibition match between Universe 7 and 9. This will be followed by Gohan's fight ending with Goku with the finale match up.
