The latest footage that came out for Justice League reveals Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Cyborg in a yet-identified alien-like surroundings. The trio also looks to be facing an enemy as they appear to be ready for battle.
According to a report from Batman News, GamesRadar has published an article that's entitled "The 24 best upcoming movies of 2017" and it featured the "Justice League" movie. The article featured a new photo, where it showed Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Cyborg ready for battle.
The report adds that the trio also appears to be inside a Kryptonian ship, probably searching for Superman. The image, though, doesn't appear on the article itself and Bleeding Cool said the photo only appeared as the article's Google card and social media image.
Also missing from the image are Batman and Flash, but Cooper Hood of Screen Rant theorizes that the particular scene that the image is taken from involves a battle, considering the stance that the three heroes are in. He said that if the scene is in an alien setting, they could be facing Steppenwolf, the rumored villain in the movie.
If it does turn out to be Steppenwolf, Hood said it would make sense for Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Cyborg to be the ones to face him as they're the three heavy hitters of the team until Superman returns.
Hood adds that if it's not connected to Steppenwolf, the scene could also be connected to the Superman arc. He said the background appears to look like Superman's Fortress of Solitude, the place where they might take him to be resurrected. If that's the case, he said it's possible then that the trio is facing Superman himself in this particular scene.
Either way, Hood said fans will have more information about the movie as it draws near its November 17, 2017, release date. Check out the trailer for the movie that came out on Comic-Con.
