‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Possibly To Get New Logo Inspired By Jack Kirby, Synopsis Reveals Thor To Battle Hulk In Gladiator Match

Marvel's "Thor: Ragnarok" is possibly getting a new logo, which seems to have taken its inspiration from Jack Kirby. The new synopsis for the movie also reveals that Thor will be battling fellow Avenger Hulk in a gladiator contest.

According to a report from Screen Rant, the alleged new logo is different from the 80s inspired one that Marvel has been using for the past year. It was discovered in a tweet by Artistwork.

The new logo is found on a shirt that was given to the art department of "Thor: Ragnarok." The report adds that the logo also features a graphic under it, which somehow reminds artwork done by Jack Kirby.

The report said that Kirby was one of the key artists who helped construct Marvel's pantheon. His work was also used as an inspiration for many of the "Doctor Strange" movie's "trippier magic and interdimensional scenes."

The success of the movie may have given director Taiki Waititi and Marvel the confidence to increase the weirdness factor in Thor's third movie. Though the movie might increase its weirdness, it won't be lacking in action and some drama.

ComicBook has reported that the new synopsis for the movie revealed that Thor will be battling against his fellow Avenger and former ally the Hulk. The two heroes will be battling in a "deadly gladiator contest" and Thor will have to survive it without the help of his powerful hammer Mjölnir.

The synopsis revealed that Thor will be battling the Hulk on the other side of the universe, where he is imprisoned. Aside from surviving the Hulk, he has to find a way to return to Asgard to prevent new villain, Hela, from making Ragnarok happen and end the Asgardian civilization.

"Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled to hit theaters in November 2017. Check out what Thor was doing when "Captain America: Civil War" was taking place in the video below.
