"Red Dead Redemption 2" On Super Bowl

Express reports that "Red Dead Redemption 2" pre-order cards will allegedly go on sale on February 5, which suggests a big announcement is incoming. Moreover, there are speculations of a brand new trailer will be released for the Super Bowl, which happens on the same day. Possibly, the latest "Red Dead Redemption 2" Super Bowl trailer will be the medium Rockstar would use to announce the release date. It could also be used to launch that pre-orders are live.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" Release Date

In addition, a Reddit user posted an image of a "Red Dead Redemption 2" pre-order card and fans are speculating about the significance of the February 5 date. Currently, the game is set for an autumn 2017 launch. Speculations, however, based on several retailer leaks have lessened it down to October. "Red Dead Redemption 2" release date as advertised by one chain retailer would be on October 2. On the other hand, another retailer claimed that it would release by the end of October. Usually, the months of October and November are the busiest months of the year for video games launchings. An October release somehow makes sense.

"Read Dead Redemption 2" Teaser

The "Red Dead Redemption 2" publicity started with a red logo on the Rockstar Games social media channels. It was then trailed by a confirmation image of a setting sun with seven bandits. With the teaser image, speculations started to surface about the second installment's concept. The upcoming "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be a Magnificent Seven-style prequel that will feature John Marston, Bill Williamson, and the rest of the Williamson Gang.
