Get ready for more action-packed episodes as "Dragon Ball Super" airs the start of the Universe Survival Saga starting February 5. A new promo video has just been released and based on the preview, it will surely be an exciting arc for fans of the beloved series.
Crunchyroll reports that the theme of the new saga is "Gentaki Toppa x Survivor." It will be an all-out battle between 12 realms and fans will get to see Goku, Vegeta and the others do their best to defeat their opponents.
In the latest episode of "Dragon Ball Super", Krillin took center stage as he learned to overcome his struggles. The episode entitled "Beat the Fearsome Foes! Krillin's Fighting Spirit Returns", features how Krillin found the motivation to train with Goku under Master Yoshi. To be able to pass training, they needed to go to a scary forest and look for Paradise Grass, which is a medicine. During their quest, they encountered some of the well-known villains in "Dragon Ball Z," such as Frieza and Majin Buu.
This episode will be the last one in this saga because by next week, the fifth arc will begin. Known as the Universe Survival Saga, Asahi Shimbun reports that the story for this new saga actually came from the original creator of "Dragon Ball," Akira Toriyama. Apparently, Son Goku requested for a tournament between the 12 universes.
The host for this martial arts tournament is Zen-Oh Sama, the ruler of the universe. In the contest, each of the 12 universes will be represented by 10 of their best warriors. Universe 7 will be represented by some of the warriors known by fans of the series, such as Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, Master Roshi, and Majin Buu.
But there is something that the Goku and the others do not know, and that is that during the tournament, the universe where the losing teams belong to will be immediately destroyed after their loss. The plot for the next saga of "Dragon Ball Super" surely sounds interesting and will be greatly enjoyed by fans of the series.
