'The Young and The Restless" Spoilers: Heartbreak Ahead for Sharon and Dylan

The last episode of "The Young and the Restless" this week spells heartbreak for Sharon and Dylan. Fans know that Dylan's character will be written out this week as Steve Burton, the actor who plays him has left the show. But many are still waiting to see how he will leave the show.

Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that before Dylan's departure, Alex (Jess Webb) will actually tell Sharon that she had sex with Dylan while he was undercover in Miami. Dylan has had a tough time ever since the truth about Christian was revealed, so he took his first undercover case.

But the case has become too much for Dylan to handle, and now Fisk's men are looking him. Despite returning to Sharon, Soaps reports that Dylan will have to leave again. He realizes that when he leaves, it would mean the death of Dylan. He also cannot bring Sharon with him, as Fisk's men would never stop looking for him, and unless Sharon is willing to change her appearance and stop talking to their children, Dylan must make the sacrifice.

Dylan makes time to say goodbye to Nikki, and Dylan airs his regrets of not having enough time with her, and she becomes emotional. Kevin comes with Dylan's new identity, and Dylan prepares to leave. Sharon thought that she could go with Dylan but he tells her that he will stop to exist as soon as he comes out of the door.

Dylan states that he will remember Sharon till death while Sharon absorbs the reality of the situation. Despite the mistake she made with Christian, Dylan had never left her. And as she puts the wedding ring back on Dylan's finger, Sharon reminisces on the day he proposed.

Their goodbye kiss is emotional and Sharon is in agony after watching Dylan leave for good. With Dylan not dead but under Witness Protection Program spells the possibility of him coming back. Do you think that may happen? Share your thoughts and comments below.
