Fans of Link will be happy to know that "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will be launched on March 3 and the trailer showed that the main antagonist will be Calamity Ganon. The game, though, will eat up half of the Switch's hard drive space.
According to Jason Imms of Game Spot, Nintendo has confirmed in a live stream that the latest "Legend of Zelda" will be the Switch's launch game. The live stream is accompanied by a video for the new game that shows a "story-heavy trailer," where Calamity Ganon, primal evil, is set up as the main antagonist.
Imms said the trailer showed half of the world is being taken over by monsters as a black shroud covers it. It also showed main protagonist Link with a group of characters that will aid him in his quest.
Imms adds that the game is slated to launch on March 3 on both the Nintendo Switch and the Wii U. The Switch is scheduled to come out on March 3 as well.
This much-awaited game, though, will be eating up almost half of the hard drive space of the Nintendo Switch, according to IGN. "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's" size is at 13.4GB, while the Switch only has 32GB of storage space, where a portion of it will be dedicated to the console's operating system.
The report adds, though, that Nintendo mentioned players will be able to expand the console's storage space via microSDXC cards. So the game's huge size won't be a problem.
The new trailer for the "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" can be viewed on the video below. For fans looking for more information about the game, Nintendo has released new concept art from the latest "Legend of Zelda" earlier this week.
