‘Lego City Undercover’ Coming To Nintendo Switch And Other Major Consoles

The funny yet dedicated Lego detective, Chase McCain is back in an all-new "Lego City Undercover" installment. Warner Bros confirmed that they are bringing back the underrated Lego inspired "GTA" game to PS4, Xbox One, PC and to the highly anticipated console Nintendo Switch. The game will be showcasing its excellent sense of humor, improved graphics, amazing soundtrack and an all new control system.

The open-world police adventure game was originally a Wii U exclusive that first debuted last 2013. According to Pocket-lint, a copy is hard to come by because the game is exclusive to the Wii platform alone. Unlike the other Lego games, "Lego City Undercover" is based on an original story where the player takes control of an undercover policeman named Chase McCain to bust criminals.

The new game will revolve around McCain's return to the titular Lego City as a hero. However, it's not a happy ending yet as the evil villain Rex Fury has escaped the Albatross Island. McCain is tasked to chase after fury and bring him back to where he deserves.

Fans of the game are excited about the wider audience after its upcoming re-launch. The previous game was entirely dependent to the excessive use of the Wii U Gamepad Controller for its control system. Fans are worried on how the new control system will turn out in the new consoles.

According to GameSpot, the game was first announced on November of last year and now is the first time that the game had a footage. However, this is not all for "Lego City Undercover" since more details are yet to come. One event to look forward to is the Nintendo Switch presentation day where the game will likely make an appearance.

The game is due on spring of this year, so we should see in sometime between March and May. The developers will surely update us for a definite release date but now, we just have to wait. Meanwhile, a new 3DS game subtitled "The Chase Begins" will be available to kill the time while waiting.
