'God of War 4' Moves Forward With Game Now Capable Of Full Play Through

Cory Barlog, the developer of "God of War 4" had just revealed that he has finished the "first full play through" of the game with the leads. This is good news for fans who are looking for news about "God of War 4."

Barlog revealed on Twitter the news about "God of War 4's." The developer adds in the tweet that this achievement is a "very exciting milestone" for them.

The "God of War" developer was replying to tweet made by a fan who said that he has "given up on 'God of War' news." The fan also said that he thinks "the game will be only the deer hunting part," referring to the gameplay trailer shown during E3.

William Usher's Cinema Blend reports that what this means is that "God of War 4" is at least already finished in the alpha state, meaning the games functional level interactions are already completed and the core mechanics already in place. Of course, this doesn't mean that the game is already close to launching as it still needs to be playable without any glitches.

Barlog also answered a fan question regarding the length of the game. The developer said no when a fan asked if the game will take 10 to 12 hours to complete.

Usher said that technically, "God of War 4" could be five to six hours long, as it could center on a tight story between father and son. He adds, though, that it could also be 15 to 20 hours long, where fans will be playing the journey of the age of the dying Greek gods through the birth of the Norse giants.

A previous report did confirm that the game will be different from previous "God of War" games, so fans will just have to wait until the game comes out to see how long they'll need to complete it. Check out the trailer for the "God of War" shown during the E3 this year at the video below.
