Minecraft seems to have been released on every major platform available. The tvOS version of Minecraft may possibly be the last platform for the game to be released on. It may be the last but it certainly is not the least as the Apple TV version will include seven pieces of DLC for a limited time.
Minecraft developer Mojang's Director of Creative Communications, Owen Jones wrote in a blog post that the Minecraft: Apple TV Edition will cost $19.99. He said that the game is being released in all regions and it will come bundled with DLC packs, including the skin packs Holiday 2015, Town Folk, and City Folk, as wel as the Plastic, Natural, Cartoon, and Festive 2016 mash-ups.
The Apple TV Edition will still be missing two significant features. It currently does not support Minecraft Realms or Xbox Live. Mojang says that these missing features will be coming soon. Computer publication PC Magazine reported that Jones wrote that they will update the game with those features in the near future.
The Apple TV Edition will also include the Ender update. The Ender update was launched for Minecraft Pocket Edition and Windows 10 Edition together with the release of the Apple TV Edition.
