‘Final Fantasy XII’ The Zodiac Age Preview; Everything You Need To Know About The 2017 Game

The upcoming remastered of the classic Playstation 2 game “Final Fantasy XII” will be coming in 2017 for the Playstation 4. Just like “Final Fantasy VII”, the game will have an updated Zodiac Job System and will feature enhanced graphics that can be played in high definition televisions. It seems Square Enix, the Japanese game developer, is keeping their hands occupied by remaking some of the “Final Fantasy” series.

International Zodiac Job System- The International Zodiac Job System was exclusively available in the Japanese version. In this remake, the system will be applied to different versions of the game, which will contain new features such as skill tree that allows characters to learn new abilities, adjusting their battle system, a trial mode and a New Game+. Furthermore, “Final Fantasy XII” will remain its unique Gambit Battle System that enables players to control the character’s AI in battle.

Graphics and Sounds- According to gamerant, enhanced graphics and sounds are the main focus of remaking “Final Fantasy XII”. Square Enix has taken time to upgrade its visualization due to the technological advancements available today.

Plot- “Final Fantasy XII” will retain the plot just like the original game. It takes place in the land of Ivalice where both empires Rozarria and Archadia are having endless wars. Caught between the wars is a small kingdom, Dalmasca. When the small kingdom was invaded by Archadians, Ashe, the Dalmascan princess, forms a resistance. She meets Vaan, a thief who wants to be a sky pirate, and other allies who will fight with her against the Archadian’s Empire.

Availability- “Final Fantasy XII” The Zodiac Age will be exclusively available for the Playstation 4. Square Enix wants to take advantage of the PS4’s hardware potential and as a result, decided not to include PS vita and PC. However, there might be a possibility that the game will get a spin-off or a sequel, according to metro.
