A 34-year old Playboy playmate was found dead in the bathtub of her friend's LA home Wednesday.
Cassandra Lynn Hensley, also nicknamed 'Butterfly' for having 5 butterfly tattoos in her body was Miss February 2006. Her friend saw her floating in her bathtub and immediately called 911 for a 'possible overdose'. Paramedics arrived by Cassandra Lynn was already dead when they got to the apartment.
No foul play was reported. There has also been no release of the 911 call and the name of the unidentified friend who was with her. There are still no drugs specified in the autopsy report.
Raised in Ferron, Utah, the Playboy playmate reportedly had an unstable childhood. She moved around a lot growing up and got into trouble several times, prompting her to be kicked out in different schools.
In a report by The Daily Mail, Aaron Arrington, who went to Junior High with Cassandra says, "She was just a nice, outgoing girl who was a little wild" and continues, "She was a little rowdy."
Recently hailed as 'Angel of the Month' by Philadelphia magazine, Metropolis Nights, Hensley continued forging her own path after being in Playboy. In a recent interview with the magazine before she died, she says: "Yes, there is life after Playboy, I have been a part of many great experiences: travel shows, magazine covers, and of course giving advice to young impressionable girls who think they need to act a certain way for a chance to be a model (classy not slutty)."
She's also recently been learning how to ride a motorcycle she just bought, which prompted another stint of appearing in an autoshow with another former Playboy playmate. She's been known to have been working as an event hostess for the past several months.
Hensley was also active in her social media, having over 7,000 followers on Twitter. She has her horoscope set to automatic tweeting, which read a day before she died:
"Unspoken obligations prevent you from doing what you wish today ... No matter what you do now, you might not feel completely fulfilled. Working harder isn't the answer, but neither is escape."
She leaves behind one child, whose name and age are yet to be indentified.
