Beyonce treated her friends and family to a feast worth $2,200 from Nandos in Chelmsford, England. US Weekly reported that the singer bought a feast for her entourage after her performance at V Festival in Hylands Park on August 17.
The Daily Mail reported that she spent $2,200 from the chicken chain Nandos with an order that consisted of 58 wing platters, 48 whole chickens, 12 veggie burgers, 24 orders of coleslaw and 24 rice dishes.
The BBC reported that Beyonce paid in cash.
Beyonce was the V Festival's headliner but showed up on stage 25 minutes after her time slot.
"Her Mrs Carter Show world tour next travels to Philadelphia in the US before heading to South America, with dates in Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia and Puerto Rico," reported The BBC.
One Nando employee tweeted, "Too excited that Beyonce is ordering a Nando's from us if only she would pick it up herself!"
Two male employees shared a photo of themselves working at a grill with the caption, "Nando's UK cooking Beyonce wings while she's at V Festival."
When the singer was in Dublin she also reportedly spent $1,250 at the chain.
Nando's website says about their food "Some say it's because we marinate our chickens overnight, so that the flavour goes right through to the bone. Others believe that regular basting with Nando's PERi-PERi sauce while it sizzles away is the key. Another group is convinced that it's our method of butterfly-grilling on an open flame. We reckon it's all this and more." As well as, "We're so passionate about our food, it doesn't stop there. Because we appreciate that the smallest touches can sometimes make a big difference, we spend hours in our test kitchens exploring ways to improve our recipes - be it in the way our food is prepared, or the way in which it is served."
