We all had a taste of the comeback of the world-wide phenomenon, "Attack on Titan" when the second season kicked off last Saturday. The episode titled "Beast Titan" jumped off with the action-filled animation after a few minutes of recap of the previous season. Sadly, there are few fans who are still not watching the first episode as they are waiting for the English dubbed versions.
It is very painful to wait for the English-dubbed version of the anime as it is often delayed compared to the subtitled versions. Being outdated in the anime is just one of the problems since by the time the dubbed versions are out, the internet will be crawling of spoilers. False rumors will also lead fans astray and the viewing experience will be ruined.
According to Comic Book, fans won't have to wait for too long as Funimation is already on its way to deliver the much-awaited English dubs. There will be two options that Funimation will offer where one is via Funimation NOW streaming services while the other will be on traditional cable viewing. Meanwhile, Toonami announced earlier that they will premiere the anime with English dub on April 22.
Unfortunately, "Attack on Titan" Season 2 Episode 1 didn't appeal much to other viewers, especially those who are new to the franchise. Though the animation is way above the expectations, the anime failed to change the minds of non-fan viewers as reported by Cecilia D'Anastasio of Kotaku. She added that the series' pacing was uneven and the events tend to repeat itself which makes it boring.
On the other hand, the preview for the next episode featured the other members of 104th Cadet Corps warning villages of Titans as Wall Rose have been breached. The next episode of "Attack on Titan" will be titled "I'm Home" but the episode will be far from the comfortable vibe of a shelter. Connie Springer will head to his home village where the Titans came from.
