After a long week of waiting, "Dragon Ball Super" is back to continue the epic Universal Survival Arc. The show makers have previously revealed the synopsis and titles of the future episodes to make up for the fans for not having an episode last week. Episode 82 will continue where the last episode left off with a warrior from Universe 11 named Toppo challenging Goku into a match.
The episode is titled "Never Forgive Son Goku! Toppo the Warrior of Justice Intrudes!!" and as the title suggests, Toppo is furious about Goku's actions that will lead to mass destruction of the universes. As we all know, Goku is a battle freak where he is addicted with the thrill of a fight. Akira Toriyama even admitted that he never intended Goku to be a hero and he sees him as a self-centered man that only cares about fighting.
In this story arc, this quality of Goku is clearly visible where he sought Zenos to propose a martial arts tournament. He is not even bothered by the fact that his actions may result into the destruction of another universe and even their own. All eyes are now on Goku which makes him a target for other competitors considering that the upcoming tournament of power will be a battle royal.
According to Anime News Network, the self-proclaimed hero of justice cannot stand Goku's irresponsible acts and he decided to take the matter on his own hands. He challenged the Saiyan to a fight and knowing Goku, he accepted without second thought. To think that Goku's universe is second from the last when it comes to the ranking, Toppo surely has something beneath his comic appearance and poses.
The fight finally started after Universe 11's Supreme Kai asked Zenos their permission to continue the fight as reported by Empty Light House. Toppo made the first move unleashing a series of his "Justice" attacks like Justice Tornado and Justice Crusher. Goku was caught off-guard by Toppo's acrobatic skills and nimbleness even with his huge physique.
Unfortunately, the action was short-lived as Goku and Toppo is preparing to go all-out, the great priest stopped the fight and said that they should leave the best part for the main tournament. The excitement level of the episode gradually decreased as the episode went on to the selection process for the participating warriors. For now, let's just wait for the next episode of "Dragon Ball Super."
