"Prison Break" Season 5 has been confirmed to be airing on April 4, 2017, at 9/8c on FOX. The return of the popular TV series is just less than a month away now, and a promo trailer has been released for some behind-the-scenes footage.
According to Yahoo! TV, the footage includes an interview with the cast and executive producers such as Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell and the genius behind the show, Paul T. Scheuring. In addition, the 30-minute special will also feature a glimpse in the past four seasons. It will also reveal a little bit of what the show's fans will be expecting in the upcoming season. The series has been filmed in a location in Morocco. Scheuring stated in the video that this return of the series is probably the biggest version of "Prison Break."
The original casts that will return are Wentworth Miller as Michael Scofield, Dominic Purcell as Lincoln Burrows, Sarah Wayne Callies as Sarah Tancredi, Robert Knepper as Theodore Bagwell, Rockmond Dunbar as Benjamin Miles Franklin, Amaury Nolasco as Fernando Sucre, and Paul Adelstein as Paul Kellerman. Sadly, William Fichtner won't be reprising his role as Alexander Mahone which has been confirmed in July 2016.
As per Access Hollywood, they have reported that "Prison Break" will have a screening and conversation event which will take place on March 29 at 7PM. The show's cast members who will be attending are Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Sarah Wayne Callies, Robert Knepper, Executive Producer Paul T. Scheuring, and fellow EPs, Vaun Wilmott and Michael Horowitz. The said event is entitled "Prison Break: Premiere Screening & Conversation."
