It has been almost a year since the "Criminal Minds'" star Shemar Moore left the TV show, and now he plans to come back to CBS network for more action pumped role in the TV series "S.W.A.T." Most of his fans cannot wait for his acknowledgement for the said role.
Yahoo! TV has reported that Moore is already on the verge of returning to CBS. They stated that Aaron Thomas and Shawn Ryan (currently an EP on Timeless) are going to executive-produce together with Marney Hochman, Neal Moritz, Pavun Shetty, and Danielle Woodrow. Moore will be playing the role in "S.W.A.T" as Lt. Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson, which is a character "torn between loyalty to the streets and duty to his fellow officers" as quoted in their report.
In addition, the lieutenant was ordered to operate with a highly trained unit that is possibly going to be the last resort in solving the upheaval in Los Angeles. The aforementioned project is relatively inspired by the 2003 film of the same name, where Colinn Ferrel, LL Cool J and Samuel Jackson. The 2003 film has also in fact been inspired by the mid-1970s ABC TV show drama.
