iPad Pro 2 Latest News: Release Date, Features & What We Know So Far

iPad Pro 2 is highly anticipated to be released in 2017. Here is what we know so far about its price, release date and other features.

Apparently, insiders claimed that the 2224 x 1668p display resolution is among the iPad Pro 2's important specs. There are also reports stating that the tablet would have the same pixel density as its forerunner. Aside from those, HIS market analyst Rhoda Alexander noted that the upcoming device would have the same 9.7-inch dimension.

Forbes, on the other hand, speculated that the device would have a bigger screen aspect ratio. This will be made possible by bezels that will be considerably reduced. In addition, it is said that iPad Pro 2 would have enhanced and smoother navigation as well as A9x chipset. Reportedly, Apple would release other similar varieties for upscale techies.

It was further speculated that a higher specs iPad Pro 2 would be released which will have a 12.9-inch display. Another iPad Pro 2 with a 10.5-inch screen model will be released as well and will be priced higher than the basic model. The upcoming iPad Pro 2 was also speculated to be released along with the Apple Pencil 2. The digital stylus pen will be improved and enhanced upon its release in 2017.

The iPad Pro 2 according to DigiTimes will be released sometime this May or June 2017. This is opposing to previous reports of earlier dates. The delay of the upcoming device's release reportedly was because of its iPad component suppliers namely TPK and Foxconn. These suppliers allegedly got very low first quarter financial results for this year and are pressuring Apple to hasten the launch.

Aside from the iPad Pro 2, other Mac rumors have also been popping up as the year starts. Most Apple fans are also anticipating a release of another iPad Air will be released this year too. The iPad Air 2 was released at the end of 2014, so many predict that it badly needs a much newer version.
