"Red Dead Redemption 2" will bring back the western games. The release of the game would be a total refresher as most genres are about post-apocalyptic or futuristic combats.
The Wild West as a setting has never been as well represented in video games as much as, the post-apocalypse, World War 2, or the standard fantasy world or futuristic science fiction. Players have assailed the virtual shores of Normandy more than a thousand times over. There are also instances when as players, we drank from scads of different toilets in "Fallout" and other similar titles.
In addition, we have also picked among the holy trinities of human/elf/dwarf and warrior/rogue/mage innumerable times, and have traveled around many distant planets. However, taking down Outlaws with a trust revolver is one rare thing that players could do in the gaming world. It is only doable in the upcoming release of the much-awaited "Red Dead Redemption 2."
The very first trailer for "Red Dead Redemption 2" magnificently highlighted the open world. However, it failed to provide us with a decent idea of how the game will play. The interesting part of it is that Rockstar showed the several acts of horse riding, bandit shooting, and desert exploring. The game will surely take its players back to the old Wild West setting when life is simple.
According to Trusted Review, Rockstar described "Red Dead Redemption 2" as an epic tale of life in America's intolerant heartland. Furthermore, the game's immense and distinctive world will also arrange for the foundation of a brand new online multiplayer experience.
In the unstable world of video games, the trend is fickle and almost everything is constantly changing. It is but a big risk to invest into something that the developer is most uncertain. It is admirable for Rockstar, however, to venture into a wild west setting when everyone else is going futuristic. How the game fair in the players, will entirely be dependent on how the developer put all those expected elements into works. All we can do is hope and wait until the spring of 2017 for the release of "Red Dead Redemption 2."
