It looks like Tom Holland, the actor who plays Spider-Man, has finished filming his character's scenes in "Avengers: Infinity War." The actor can be seen burning the movie script in a video.
According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, Holland burned his script to keep movie spoilers from leaking. He shared the video on Instagram as proof that he got rid of the script.
"Rule number one... hand in your script," Holland wrote in the caption. He said in the video that Marvel is keen on keeping "everything a secret." He adds that he is destroying the script because he forgot to hand it over.
The report adds that when Holland was just cameoing in "Captain America: Civil War," he didn't want to read the entire script, but only his lines for the movie. He said Marvel offered him to read the script but refused for fear of revealing the secrets of the movie.
"I've got such a big mouth," he said. "So I actually don't know what it's about." Of course, Holland's move has still caused speculations that he has already finished filming the movie, despite the production team shooting the movie for only three weeks. Rose Moore of Screen Rant said that, even if Holland has been present on day one of filming and his character not likely to have a huge role, it's still too short of an amount of time for the actor to finish all of his scenes.
Moore adds that it is possible Holland is only done filming one scene but needs to be somewhere else for a different project, or to relax, so he had to burn his script. He would probably return at a later date to finish working on the movie.
If he is indeed done, Moore said it would disappoint fans of Spider-Man, who are hoping the web-slinger would have a bigger role in "Avengers: Infinity War." The movie is scheduled to come out on 2018, so it will still be a long wait to find out. Check out the video Marvel came out with that features Holland, Robert Downey, Jr., who plays Iron Man, and Chris Pratt, who plays Peter Quill (Star-Lord).
