The song premiered online late Monday night and took the world by storm with its captivating tune and relatable lyrics.
After the success of their previous single "Don't Wanna Know", Maroon 5 kept the ball rolling with their collaboration with Future. According to Billboard, the new song took the top spot of the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart. The chart was used to measure the actual trend of the song and the artist on Twitter.
The song instantly capture the hearts of the miserable during the Valentine's day with some chilling messages embedded in their lyrics and music. The title of the song, "Cold" is every bit as chilling as the chorus expressed with lines going "Cold enough to chill my bones, it feels like I don't know you anymore". Future then expounded the message with his snappy verses and in his rap solo.
