Ever since the final release date announcement for "Stranger Things" Season 2 at the Super Bowl, fans are craving for more information for the highly anticipated season. We first had our preview of Eleven's new hairdo. No doubt, things will get stranger and stranger especially that Season 2 will start off after their adventure in the Upside Down.
According to Entertainement Weekly, Season 2 to will kick off during the Halloween, a year after the events of the first season in Hawkins, Indiana. The kids went full "Ghost Busters" complete with the uniforms and ghost-busting gadgets. Will joined the Ghost Buster crew, however, he seemed not all too well as he is suffering from a post-traumatic stress disorder.
It can be recalled that Will was trapped in another dimension called the Upside Down before being rescued during the last moments of Season 1. He is shown to be still under the influence of the mysterious place as evidenced by a slug upchuck in his last appearance. Show-maker Matt Duffer teased that young Mr. Byers is seeing images from the Upside Down, however, he is not certain whether it is true or not.
On the other hand, Byer's mother Joyce is now dating an old high school classmate, Bob played by Sean Astin. She came up with this idea because she wants Will and Jonathan to have a good father figure to look up to when they grow up.
Meanwhile, the siblings, Nancy and Mike Wheeler are still devastated from the loss of both Barb and Eleven as reported by E News. "She and Mike are both the most screwed-up because they're the ones who both lost someone," said co-creator Ross Duffer. They still can't move on with the thought of losing someone important to them and the stress is getting at them.
To break the ice, Eleven will be making it back this Season even after the fierce battle with the Demogorgon and disappearing. Matt Duffer even said that the enigmatic little girl will play a huge part in the season two of "Stranger Things". He also claimed that the upcoming season will feature a backstory for Eleven.
