"Rick and Morty" season 3 has really taken too long. Thus, series creator Dan Harmon decided to spill the beans off by showing his rap skills. It can be recalled that the season 2 of the series had ended way too long in October 2015 and its complex narrative was still left on cliffhanger which leads fans to some mind-bending theories.
Thus, from then on, most of the fans had been too desperate in finding out what and when the next season would be. Its arrival appears to have given its showrunners a bunch of time in order to come up with a more creative ways that will excite everyone. And just this weekend, Harmon made a new update for the coming of the season 3 and on its coming episodes, Konbini reported.
It was in his recent interview when the series creator offered an explanation for the development of "Rick and Morty" and even gave the listeners a much-anticipated update in a form of autotuned rap. Accordingly, they already had drawn it; he said before starting to board on the basic description of the animation process.
He even explained how cartoon works. "First, you write them, and then you draw them for a really long time. Everything needs to be on paper. So you can see it", Harmon explained in his statement. More than that, he even went on a rap for those fans criticizing him for his vocal political stances. He just poked fun at his very own art skills, Comicbook reported.
Further, the latest update of the forthcoming season 3 came shortly after Harmon clarified the delay on his Twitter account. He also clarified that there were no behind the scene dramas that was keeping "Rick and Morty" from its long-awaited return.
Even though it may not be the answer that fans long to hear, but still Adult Swim will make an official statement about it and this is something they all have to work with.
