Fans who can't get enough of "Yuri!!! On Ice" can add another item to their collection as a Nendoroid figure of Yuri Katsuki has been unveiled. The new Nendoroid figure will also come with two hairstyles and several facial expressions that highlight Yuri's two sides.
According to a report from Anime News Network, the new figure was unveiled last Wednesday by Orange Rouge, via its Twitter account. To showcase the release of the figure, the company even held a live streaming event.
The report adds that the Yuri Katsuki figure will come in two hairstyles and two faces that will showcase the characters cool and dorky sides. Yuri's dorky side figure will also come with accessories, such as his signature blue-rimmed glasses and his cellphone with its trademark poodle-case. Yuri even has an accessory of his favourite food, "katsudon."
Yuri Katsuki's Nendoroid figure is available for 4,500 yen, or about $40 and can be pre-ordered at the Good Smile Online Company. The report adds that shipping of the Nendoroid figure is scheduled in July.
Details of the product can be found on Good Smile's website and it said that the figure will have three facial expressions of Yuri. The expressions are the smiling expression, the embarrassed expression, and the "eros" expression, from Yuri's short program.
The website also shows that preorders began on February 3, 2017, and will last until March 16, 2017, at 12:00 Japan Standard Time. People who purchased the Nendoroid figure from the online shop will also be receiving a Yuri Katsuki Nendoroid rubber strap as a bonus.
Anime News Network adds that Orange Rogue also has a planned Victor Nikiforov Nendoroid figure. Details weren't provided yet, though. But the company is also planning to ship it on July via the Good Smile Company.
The report adds that the company is actually already offering a folding mirror that showcases Victor's Nendoroid design for 864 yen, or about $8 and is scheduled to ship in March. Check out the live stream unveiling of the Yuri Katsuki Nendoroid figure in the video below.
