According to a report from Anime News Network, the "My Hero Academia" TV anime announced on Friday that episode 1 will be recapping season 1 of the series. The recap episode will also be showing some scenes of the new footages.
The report said that episode 1, which is entitled "Boku no Hero Academia Hero Note," will be based on the protagonist Izuku Midoriya's "meticulous notebook." The notebook holds details about the abilities of the other heroes.
The report adds that the December issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed that season 2 of the anime series will debut in April. But the anime's site lists its debut at March 25, which will air the recap episode.
The actual story of "My Hero Academia" Season 2 will premiere on April 1, 2017. Scott Green of Crunchyroll reports that season 2 will have a new big cast that will voice one of the new students.
Green said that the new cast will be Seiyuu Award winner Wataru Hatano, who already voice characters in several hit anime series, such as "Yuri!!! On Ice's" Georgi Popovich, and "Fairy Tail's Gajeel Redfox. Hatano will be voicing Hitoshi Shinsou, a student from Class 1-C.
Anime News Network said that joining Hatano in the list of the new cast in the series will be Saki Ogasawara as Itsuka Kendo, Miho Misaka as Ibara Shiozaki, Koji Okino as Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, Kohei Amasaki as Neito Monoma, and Azu Sakura as Mei Hatsume.
