A backpacking couple goes viral for taking their baby with them in 20 countries all over the world. The couple started backpacking with their young daughter since she was barely over a year and a half. From Asia to America, they've literally traveled across the globe.
According to Metro, this family of three has been traveling the world for 16 months since they put their house up for rent to go backpacking. They lived off with their savings and the money that they got from renting their house.
Naomi Jacques (33) and Steve (39) have been moving to different locations with their daughter named Betty at an average stay of 3 days per destination. The countries that they have visited include Vietnam, Australia, China, Argentina, Canada, and Thailand.
But the big question is that how did the whole idea of backpacking with their daughter started. The idea began when Naomi realized that her family wasn't spending enough time with each other when she was on maternity leave. It was then that she thought of taking their baby with them to go traveling.
The couple wanted Betty to experience the different cultures and languages of other countries while she was growing up. They saved up for accommodation and car rental before they started their whole journey.
Naomi and Steve were travelers even before they met. However, they said that it's a different experience having to change diapers while traveling. But with the couple's love for travel, they decided to push through.
As of now, Naomi is pregnant with another baby so the traveling trio decided to take a break and come back to England. The Daily Mail reported that the Jacques family is still hoping to go back to traveling mode for the summer once Naomi gives birth.
The family is now back to living a normal life since they want their daughter to also experience a normal childhood. Betty celebrated her birthday last year in September and is now three years old.
