The newest dining spot in Disneyland called the 21 Royal has been getting so much attention lately because of its $15,000 meal. The luxurious and expensive offer is a seven-course meal served for a party of 12 that uses gold-plated dinnerware and crystal.
Most people think that Disneyland is just about ice cream and cotton candy, but it's also trying to expand its market nowadays. According to Fox News, the location of the restaurant is on top of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" ride and was once the home of Walt and Lillian Disney.
According to Travel & Leisure, the 21 Royal was once unfinished for a number of years but Disney tried to revive the plans. It's a 2,200 square foot area where guests can relive a dining experience that the Disney couple once had in the home.
The whole dining experience starts with cocktails at the courtyard that looks like an Empire-style salon. The hosts will also inform the guests about the history and background of the items and artwork found in the house.
Guests would then have dessert at the balcony and might have a chance to experience an amazing fireworks display if they get lucky. It's really a luxurious experience that comes with servers, butlers, and sommeliers.
The seven-course meal is specifically designed around the guests' preferences where themes would be chosen for each meal. New York Post reported that the food is prepared by executive Andrew Sutton and chef de cuisine Justin Monson. The
The 21 Royal started accepting guests back in 2014 but only for exclusive members of Club 33. However, people who can afford the luxurious place can now experience the one of a kind dinner.
Reservations are now being accepted and the offer comes with other services and benefits as well. There will be a 12-person park admission for the party and valet services will also be included.
