The "Guardians of the Galaxy" had their hands full not only from Ronan the Accuser but also to the notorious adopted daughter of Thanos, Nebula. Gamora's cybernetic adopted sister had been one of the villains stood in the way of the Guardians back in 2014. However, with the upcoming release of "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2", the Nebula actress teased that her character will face a major turn of events.
During an interview with The Wrap, the Scottish actress claimed that her character may gain the sympathy of the fans as well as their view on Nebula. "In the second movie, we're going to start to see how much pain her father actually caused her, and we're going to delve right into the relationship with her sister Gamora," said Karen Gillan. She claimed that "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2" will delve deeper into Nebula's emotions.
We all know that The Mad Titan, Thanos is nowhere near the caring kind lest a good father, so it will not be surprising if Nebula suffered a lot just to please his father. There is also a sister rivalry between Gamora and Nebula which can also be a huge factor that will play in the upcoming film. These relationships can also explain the change of heart that Nebula will experience.
According to Comic Book, the first trailer of "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2" implies that Nebula is either kidnapped of smuggled out of a secret location. Instead of going against the Guardians, she is shown to be cooperating with them. Surely, Nebula's character development will be one of the major must-see in the movie.
The second installment of the film will continue the Guardian's adventures as they travelled the cosmos to find and unravel the mysteries behind Peter Quill or Star Lord's true parentage. The story will be set two months after the events of the first movie as the Guardians struggle to keep their newfound family together. The movie is slated to release on May 5 and the gang is expected to return with the release of "Avengers: Infinity War".
