Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is now joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe with its stand alone movie titled "Spider-Man: Homecoming". Young Peter Parker played by the goofy actor Tom Holland will now have his own movie since his debut on Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War". To add more spice, a new promo image was released as an advertisement for Dell's new gaming laptops.
The movie will follow the story after Parker's grand adventure with the Avengers. He will come back home together with his Aunt May that will be played by Marisa Tomei. Tony Stark will still be a major influence for Parker and furthermore becomes his mentor.
Parker will be plagued by the thought of doing more than just being a friendly neighborhood Spider-man. According to ComingSoon.Net, Parker will have his chance to prove himself when a new super-villain emerged in the person of Vulture played by Michael Keaton.
IGN reported that Spidey will have a series of improvements in to his suit, all thanks to Mr. Stark. Spider-Man will have an upgraded web shooter that has a huge selection of different webs, each for different purposes. It also comes with a laser targeting system for a more accurate shooting. The suit also comes with web wings that lets Spidey glide through the air.
Another feature added into Spidey's suit is the GPS tracking system with a holographic wrist display which is first seen on the post-credits scene of "Captain America: Civil War" where Parker is seen projecting his Spider-Man holographic display in his bedroom. The final addition to his suit is the expressive eyes in his mask that can shrink or expand at will.
This additions are shown at a video through Twitter which coincides with the first day of CES, a global consumer electronics and consumer technology tradeshow. Despite the fact that the "Spider-Man: Homecoming" didn't have an official presence at the convention, the video portrayed to look like its been crafted for CES, showing the latest gadgets and upgrades of the suit. Spidey will be swinging to theater on July 7, 2017.
