Shoot Away With This Guide To New FPS Games Of 2017

Last year, we witnessed the emergence of countless FPS games on different platforms and gaming consoles. We also see the start of the virtual reality age in FPS gaming. Now, in 2017, we will see more of them and probably a new game will be released with every tick of the clock. To prepare for next year, here is a short list from PC Gamer of FPS games to watch out for, so be sure to mark your calendars.

First on the list is the most anticipated game from Ubisoft Paris, "Ghost Recon: Wildlands". According to its official website, Ghost Recon.Ubisoft, the FPS game will feature an open world stage where the player's every action will affect every aspect of the whole game. The mission is to stop the drug cartel in the area and players can accomplish it any way they wanted either via carefully planned stealth operation or a more straightforward approach where you spray all the bullets at enemies.

Another on the list is "Red Dead Redemption 2" of Rockstar Studios. Looking back at the awesome trailer of the game, we can only assume that the second installment will be the western FPS version of the Magnificent Seven. Plus, Rockstar is also working on a multiplayer feature that will probably resemble GTA Online but trains run over people instead of cars.

To give you the early chills of the year, "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" will be the first to hit the public on January 24, 2017. The game will definitely give new meaning to the words 'survival' and 'horror' in FPS with the re-introduction of backtracking and secret hunting.

To follow of the "Resident Evil", "Sniper Elite 4" will keep you company during your lonely Valentine's Day. Slated to release sometime in February, the third person World War 2 shooting game will play its strengths with heart stopping stealth kills and disturbingly vivid x-ray slow-mo shots. Maps are also stretched, where the smallest map of the new game is three times bigger than any maps of the previous installment for more challenging kills.

These are just few of the big titles that will be arriving this year. It will be hard to overcome what has FPS gaming accomplished in 2016 but the developers are working their best to bring us the best of the best. Now that it's New Year, we can only look forward for what's to come this year ahead of us.
