Katy Perry Goes Blond As She Throws Orlando Bloom a Birthday Party

Not only did Katy Perry portray the perfect girlfriend when she threw actor boyfriend Orlando Bloom an amazing 40th birthday bash, she even debuted a new on the day of the party. Instead of her signature black locks, Katy is now sporting a bleach-blonde look, which is very similar to her boyfriend's.

The couple began dating since Spring of last year and have been inseparable since they got together. The party for Orlando, which Perry secretly organized, was held at Pal Springs as reported by Daily Mail.

ET Online reports that the birthday bash was attended by friends of the couple, including celebrities Justin Theroux and wife Jennifer Aniston. But, aside from Perry, the guest that Orlando was most happy to see was probably his mom, who flew in especially for his birthday. He even posted on his Instagram a picture of him and his mother, calling her visit the "best surprise gift ever."

E News reports that the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor was really surprised with the party, and did not expect it. Love can really make people do things as Katy was more than happy to organize the party for her beau.

Perry herself had a 50's themed party for her birthday celebration last year. Bloom, was of course in attendance, and the couple took the high school theme seriously, with the "Firework" singer wearing an outfit inspired by a principal while Orlando Bloom donned an outfit fit for a high school athlete.

While both Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry have been married before, Orlando Bloom to supermodel Miranda Kerr, and Katy Perry to comedian Russell Brand, their previous failures in love is not stopping them from getting into a serious relationship. They started dating after the Golden Globe Awards last year, and have been photographed going on tropical vacations and low-key date nights ever since.
