NBA News: Draymond Green Exploded On Kevin Durant After A Huge Loss Against Grizzlies

Draymond Green openly expressed his dissent over Kevin Durant's failed 3 point shot from isolation. The shot is the final and game changing possession of the Warriors that finally lead to an upsetting loss against Grizzlies. The game went on to an overtime leading to a 128-119 victory for the Grizzlies last Friday night.

Every athlete experiences some bad days and surely there would be tough losses and tough times ahead. However, no one from the Warriors ever thought that it is still possible to blow a 24 point lead in the first half within their own turf. Warriors are now marked with six losses with five losses coming from Grizzlies (twice), Spurs, Cavaliers and Rockets.

According to News.Com.Au, Green admitted that he lost some cool during Memphis' comeback and his body language particularly is not great. However, he claimed that he is actually thrilled with their loss. "I'm actually happy we lost today because there's some things that we need to correct in order to win a championship, and that's our goal," said the Warriors' forward.

Green also mentioned that the conversation with Durant was about the Warriors' offence sticking the Stephen Curry-Durant pick-and-roll. Warriors' coach, Steve Kerr, mentioned that the animated conversation between the two players is 'not a big deal' and is only a typical teammate interaction. He also added that he permitted Durant's 3 point from isolation play because he liked the match-up between Zach Randolph.

CBS Sports reported that Warrior's loss can be attributed to its poor clutch performance. Curry was brilliant all night long with 36 points at the end of the third quarter. However, the Warriors superstar lost some steam during the clutch time shooting 2 out of 7 for four points.

It is good to see that they are not entirely disappointed with the loss and are actually learning from their mistakes. It is no easy task to bunch a lot of talented offensive players with redundant skill sets to play smoothly right away. However, with lessons learned Golden State will surely bounce back stronger in the future.
