'Suits' Season 6 Midseason Premier Features Power Struggle Between Specter and Litt

"Suits" have always been one of the most highly anticipated TV show year after year. Its popularity allowed it to have six thrilling seasons and is now heading toward its midseason premiere. The stakes are higher than ever and we may be seeing the beginning of the end.

After his arrest at the ending of Season 5, Mike Ross is now finally out of jail. Harvey Specter went to greater heights and went back-door dealing just to get Ross out of prison. The duo then went to celebrate Ross' release and Specter offered to bring back the ex-convict to the firm as a consultant with the same paycheck as he was a junior partner.

However, according to iDigitalTimes, the biggest twist of the season will be Jessica's withdrawal from Pearson Specter Litt Firm after Robert Zane offered to merge their films. With the loss of a major partner, the firm suffered a huge loss of credibility leaving Specter and Louis Litt's future shady.

Executive Producer Aaron Korsh stated that the problem will probably fall to Specter's trusty secretary and friend Donna. Litt will be out of the picture as he will be busy with his newly engaged partner Tara. This will leave Donna shouldering all the burden left by Jessica and Specter planning on what to do to save the firm.

Jessica's resignation will surely relight some trouble as there will surely have trouble on selecting who will lead the newly dubbed Specter Litt Firm. However, this does not mean that we will be seeing the last of Jessica.

"Don't count Jessica out on "Suits", 'cause those boys are going to mess up and they're going to have to call me. I believe that. I don't know when, I don't know how, but that story's not done, 'cause everybody comes back," said Gina Torres in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
