'Sherlock Season' News: Four Teasers And A Release Date

"Did you miss me?" Moriarty asked by the end of Season 3. Maybe we have, and that's why fans must be over the roof by the New Year once Sherlock Season 4 has returned to the screen on Jan. 1, 2017.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Sheen play the iconic duo Sherlock Holmes and his companion, John Watson in the present day crime drama series. BBC tweeted that the season will premiere with the title
"The Six Thatchers." Whether this is an allude to the UK Prime Minister Thatcher, we know that the first episode is based on Arthur Conan Doyle's The Adventure of the Six Napoleons. Four teasers have dropped which led fans to speculate more on what will happen in Season 4.

In the third and final episode of Season 3, Jim Moriarty broadcasted that he will be coming back. This episode was succeeded by The Abominable Bride where Holmes concluded that Moriarty has indeed died, but many will carry out his plans.

Was the first teaser a red herring? It looped us back to that that video, and we hear Sherlock saying, "Something is coming. Maybe it's Moriarty. Maybe it isn't." Maybe there will be someone who is as bad as Moriarty who will pester Holmes.

That someone could be Culverton Smith, which will be played by Toby Jones, in the second episode, The Lying Detective based from Doyle's The Adventure of the Dying Detective. The second episode will air on January 8.

Uncle Sherlock? John and Mary Watson will have a baby! But it seemed that it's not why Holmes said "I love you," in the second teaser video.

Hiddleston as the third Holmes brother? Sherlock creator, Mark Gatiss dropped in July that the possibility of Tom Hiddleston being the third brother, Sherrinford Holmes could happen.

Moriarty again. Sorry, we love the villain so much that we're having this one thought: He's alive. The last episode of Season 4 will air on Jan. 15 and is titled as The Final Problem. Maybe Moriarty is alive. Who knows? No one has ever given Holmes a headache as much as Moriarty does.
