BottleRock Napa Valley has become the kick-off event to San Francisco's Bay Area's summer festivities. Held at the Napa Valley Expo, this festival brings together over 100,000 attendees for a 3-day celebration of great music.
BottleRock delivers all the creature comforts that make the Napa Valley a travelers' must-visit destination. From world class wines, excellent cuisine, all the way to the beautiful surroundings enveloped in warm days followed by cool nights. Add to that mix all the incredible sight lines at all its stages, fewer bodies than most festivals with comparable lineups, a terrific location smack-dab in the middle of a charming town in Wine Country.
For years, the Napa Valley has been heralded for its best-known product, which is wine. Naturally, food comes right after because wine is deserved after a great meal. It is noteworthy that the Napa Valley boasts more Michelin stars than any other agricultural region, with names like Thomas Keller, Christopher Kostow, Masaharu Morimoto and Michael Chiarello making Napa Valley their culinary home.
Napa is not just about wine, though. There's also beer. And BottleRock pours a dozen of local craft brews in the beer garden. Local brand mainstays Lagunitas, Anchor Brewing, Blue Moon and Napa Smith will be on BottleRock's craft beer lineup.
As the Valley matured, the arts began emerging as one of its pillars. Incredible sculpture, architecture, fine galleries and museums now dot the Valley. And musical venues like the art deco beauty Uptown Theatre, the vibrant City Winery, the state-of-the-art Lincoln Theater in tiny Yountville and a variety of smaller venues, restaurants, and even tasting rooms, offer world-class, eclectic musical performances.
Then came BottleRock, and with it, the Napa Valley was on the musical map. Through BottleRock, tens of thousands of musical fans have discovered the charms of the Napa Valley.
