Recently, Marvel Studios launched the latest trailer for what could be their biggest blockbuster yet. As expected, "Avengers: Age of Ultron" Trailer 3 earned a lot of cheers and excited screams from fans. The movie studio announced that they would release the trailer early if enough people tweeted using #AvengersAssemble. Sure enough, it took fans less than four hours to reach the quota. So what exactly are the highlights of this latest teaser?
1. A New Look at Ultron
Ten seconds into the trailer and you see a dramatic shot of Ultron with a red cape draped over his face. Hardcore fans will instantly recognize this as the very thing he wore on his first appearance as the Crimson Cowl. The throne itself might be a throwback to the cover of Annihilation: Conquest #5.
2. World Domination
It looks like "Avengers: Age of Ultron" will happen in a much global scale, according to its third trailer. Detail-oriented fans will note around 0:18 that the setting (the one with people pointing up to the sky towards a Quinjet) seems to be the Digital Media City in Seoul, South Korea.
3. Hulk and Black Widow
Near the first minute of the trailer, you can see Bruce Banner and Natasha engaged in what seems to be an intimate moment in one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s safehouses. This scene brings about an exciting mystery to where "Avengers: Age of Ultron" could springboard Hulk's character.
4. Iron Man and Loki's Staff
Further into the trailer, a scene is shown where Tony Stark holds Loki's gauntlet, which is believed to possess the Mind Stone, while wearing an Iron Man gauntlet. Fans will note that this stone is the channel through which Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver gained their powers.
5. Hulkbuster
The Hulk versus Iron Man fight is definitely one of the most awaited moments in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." In the third trailer, more scenes from the battle are shown, in footage where Hulk is punching Iron Man as he practically rides him up a building.
The third and latest trailer for "Avengers: Age of Ultron" truly does little to stifle the excitement of fans everywhere. One thing's for sure: starting this April: the world will assemble.
