Venus Williams is already fed up with Serena Williams' partying habits to the extent that the legendary tennis siblings are currently not in good terms, according to a report by the New York Post.
According to NY Post Page Six writer Stephanie Smith, the Williams sisters are reportedly in an icy rift, as sources indicated that Serena's busier social life triggered Venus' anger towards her little sis.
"An insider was heard during the US Open claiming, "They're not in a good place right now. Venus is angry with Serena," because of her active social life off the court," Smith reported.
The source added that the Williams sisters surprisingly didn't arrive together or bother to talk each other at the US Open kickoff event (the Taste of Tennis) four weeks ago.
"There was no acknowledgment that either one was even there," a source told New York Post Page Six.
Serena, who recently captured her 18th Grand Slam title after winning a third straight US Open championship in Flushing Meadows, was spotted partying with super model Gigi Hadid, Hollywood actor Joe Jonas, and even her US Open finals opponent Caroline Wozniacki.
"I am very surprised by these accusations. They are completely false. Venus and Serena always have been and continue to be close and supportive of one another."
There are speculations that their on-court struggle as doubles partners are the by-product of their on-going feud.
Then again, Venus'and Serena's personal relations representatives cleared that there's no tension between the Williams sisters, adding they continue to be supportive for each other.
"I am very surprised by these accusations. They are completely false. Venus and Serena always have been and continue to be close and supportive of one another," according to Venus PR Lisa Sorensen.
"Absolute lie and reckless . . . They continue to be each other's biggest fans and a beacon of support for each other. There is no change in their very close and special relationship," Serena's Kelly Bush Novak told Page Six Report.
