George Clooney Unhappy With Daily Mail’s Claim About His Future Mother In-Law; ‘Gravity’ Actor Junks Apology [VIDEO+REPORT]

George Clooney is definitely unhappy that he rejects Daily Mail's letter of apology after the tabloid reported that the actor's future mother-in law is opposed to the upcoming union of her daughter with the 'Gravity' star.

In an exclusive statement released by the actor in USA Today, Clooney responded to the claim made by the tabloid regarding his relationship with his fiancée's family. Daily Mail previously reported that the mother of Amal Alamuddin is against the marriage of the couple due to some issues when it comes to religion. According to the actor, the story that was published is entirely not true.

The Hollywood star even said that he's already used to the Daily Mail making up stories and that he doesn't care, but the issue about the aspect of religion is quite totally sensitive and inappropriate as it involves many larger issues. He even slammed the publication by telling that it is the worst tabloid.

With this, Daily Mail with its online entertainment-based website Mail Online, has printed an apology letter with regards to the claim that George Clooney's future mother-in law, Baria Alamuddin is against to the upcoming wedding which was rumored to be scheduled some time in September this year. Although the tabloid has already issued the letter to the actor, its managing editor Charles Garside still claims that the article was not a fabrication. According to the editor, the story has been based to the conversations with the senior members of the Lebanese community.

Although George Clooney thanked the tabloid for saying they're sorry with what they have published, it was reported that the actor rejected their apology.

"So I thank the Mail for its apology. Not that I would ever accept it, but because in doing so they've exposed themselves as the worst kind of tabloid." Clooney said in his exclusive statement to USA Today.
