Boko Haram's kidnapping activity has gained worldwide publicity while they continue to resist the force of the military groups.
The terrorist group raises fear to the people of Nigeria as they continue to execute their activities which include killing many people in the country. Earlier this week, hundreds of people were suspected to have been killed when the group again strikes an attack in villages which also increased the political pressure in Nigeria. The said attack is just another horrible action made by Boko Haram following the kidnapping of a large number of female students last month.
Recent attack made by Boko Haram has been brutal after using the same tactic that they used during the kidnapping of more than 200 girls on April. According to reports, the militant group deceived the people in the villages by wearing the soldiers' uniforms while they introduced themselves as soldiers from the government who were there to protect the people from the area. The group then tried to gather everyone in the center of the village and then brutally fired on them.
As the people tries to escape from the massive manslaughter, other members of the militant group were actually waiting outside the village and attacked them. The death toll from the tragic incident has been estimated to reach up to 200 while reports coming from the leaders of the community claim that it's about 400 to 500. Monday's massive killing is another deadly attack made by the Boko Haram that gained international attention just like that of the previous massive kidnapping.
It can be remembered that Boko Haram is the one responsible for the kidnapping of more than 200 schoolgirls from the town of Chibok. Abubakar Shekau, the leader of the militant group said that all of the girls will be held as captives until all of their members that were imprison will be freed. They even threatened to sell the girls.
Protests have been made in regards to the massive kidnapping done by Boko Haram. People all over the world have shown their sympathy towards the family of those schoolgirls. Previous reports say that the girls are being forced into Islam and into marriage with the members of the terrorist group.
