'Sense8' Season 2 Update: New Trailer Talks About Rembrandt; Hints On Impending War

Finally, after almost two years of waiting, fans of "Sense8" will soon enjoy Season 2. Season 1 of this science fiction TV series ended in June of 2015, and two months after, Netflix announced that it has been renewed. However, the release of Season 2 has been delayed, and it's not really clear why, but the show assured that the wait is going to be worth it.

Actor Max Riemelt who plays Wolfgang in "Sense8" previously teased that Season 2 will have "more sex, more violence." Season 1 has received a generally favorable review, and the series has been praised for its presentation of the LGBT community, Comic Book Resources said. It is also known for its dark theme and daring sex scenes, and the promise of more just makes fans hope that it's May already.

Vulture reported that "Sense8" Season 2 actually started with a Christmas special and that 2 hours of the season has already been aired. The remainder will be available starting May 5, so that's 10 more hours left for Season 2. A new trailer has been released to tease us of what to expect next.

The new trailer talks about Rembrandt, the Dutch artist who is known for painting popular portraits. The promo says that his name is synonymous with a masterpiece, and it shows one of his works, which is described as individuals setting aside their differences for a common good. "But what we see is not what people saw hundreds of years ago. How we see changes, because our senses are evolving," the trailer added.

The trailer shows that dark forces continue to track the eight connected characters. These characters are from different parts of the world that are mentally connected by the experience. In "Sense8" Season 2, we will learn more about the secret organization searching for their cluster called BPO. A key art has also been released showing the characters' connection and bond.
