Donald Trump is suing funny-man Bill Maher for $5 million. The money Trump says he has been promised by the comedian for providing information that he wasn't "the spawn of his mother having sex with an orangutan."
Apparently he has the proof.
Now Maher probably regrets taking on "The Trump" on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, by promising to give $5 million to a charity of Trump's choice if he could provide evidence.
"He promised me $5 million for charity if I provided certain information," said Donald Trump on the segment on Monday for Fox & Friends. "Well, I provided the information, he didn't pay. So today I sue Bill Maher for $5 million for charity."
He has a point, upon hearing about the $5 million offer, Trump released his birth certificate and through his attorney, Scott S. Balber, released a letter.
"Attached hereto is a copy of Mr. Trump's birth certificate, demonstrating that he is the son of Fred Trump, not an orangutan," Balber wrote in the letter, according to newsmax.com.
The letter also contained the five charities that Maher's $5 million would go to:
Hurricane Sandy Victims, the Police Athletic League, the American Cancer Society, the March of Dimes, and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
It is believed by many that Maher was joking, and at the same time mocking Trump's $5 million offer to President Barack Obama for showing proof of his parentage.
However, Trump didn't get the joke.
"I don't think he was joking," he said said, according to Yahoo. "He said it was venom. That was venom. That wasn't a joke. In fact, he was nervous when he said it. It was a pathetic delivery [sic]."
