‘Boruto: Naruto Next Generations’ Second Trailer Teases Conflict Between Father & Son: Details About Boruto’s Mark Revealed!

There will be only a week left before the highly-anticipated spin-off series, "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" goes on air. There are a lot of things going on in the franchise after "Naruto Shippuden" bid its farewell after more than a decade of dominating the anime industry. To prepare for the upcoming release a second trailer was previewed which shows that Naruto and his son Boruto is not on good terms with each other.

As we all know, Naruto has become a key figure and hero to Konoha. His efforts in the 4th Great Ninja War are no small feat plus he became the seventh Hokage of the village. Growing up with a father with that qualifications will be a double-edged sword for Boruto.

First and foremost, being a Hokage will prove to be a hard job to take on and this will result with Naruto having no time to spare to bond with his son and family. Also, being the son of the great Hokage will be tough for Boruto because people will see him not as who he is but his father and his legacy. Boruto will also get the rejection that Naruto experienced before but not quite the same. Naruto was rejected because of his cursed power while Boruto was isolated because of his ties to the strongest ninja.

According to Comic Book, the second trailer will feature Boruto saying that it's not about being a Hokage's son or about his stupid dad. Boruto added that this is his story which is perfectly accurate as the spin off series is breaking away the focus on Naruto and directing the attention to Boruto.

Meanwhile, some of the fans can't help themselves but speculate in the upcoming series' plot. In the manga, Boruto is shown to have a diamond-shaped mark after he fought Momoshiki as reported by Droid Report. Though there is no information regarding the marking, some fans speculated that it will play a huge role in the future events of the series and they believe that it is somewhat like a cursed seal.

Markings on ninjas played a huge role in "Naruto Shippuden" and it is probably the same in "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations." The most awaited series is scheduled to release on April 5, 2017.
