The ratings for season 13 of "Keeping up with the Kardashians" seem to be going down and it is not sitting well with matriarch Kris Jenner. This is despite the fact that the show has been hinting on more discussions about what happened to Kim Kardashian in the Paris robbery incident last year.
Unreality TV reports that the viewership for the season premiere had a significant 33% decrease compared to the numbers from last season. There were around 1.48 million people who watched it last season, so around 700,000 less this year, if the numbers posted are right.
The site goes on to say that Kris is offering a big bonus to Kim to boost the ratings by adding some more drama to their reality TV show. It seems that mother Kris believes that the events that happened to Kim and husband Kanye will be the catalyst to making the ratings go up again.
The couple had an eventful 2016, and not just due to Kim's robbery. Kanye had an emotional breakdown that caused him to be hospitalized and shy away from public engagements for a while. Not much has been heard from Kim regarding the holdup, so many people thought that she would divulge it in their reality show.
But Forbes reports that it seems that it did not pay up due to the low number of viewers. Meanwhile, reports say that in the next episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," it seems that Kanye's actions will cause Kim to flashback to her traumatic experience.
It seems that Kim freaked out when her husband came home late one night after a concert. Clearly, Kim is still traumatized by being held at gunpoint.
